WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain right, title and
interest in certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Ore g
State of California, described as Lot Six (6) in Block Seven (7) of Tract No. 422,
(Mills Park Tract) as per map recorded in Book 15, Page 48, Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California, and
WHEREAS said City of Anaheim has no use for ea id real. property or any
part thereof for public purposes, and said City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interests of said City that the said real property should be
sold and conveyed tnto private ownership in order that the same may again be
placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange, and
WHEREAS it is impractical for the City of Anaheim to initiate steps to
of said real property, and
WHEREAS aa offer of Two Hundred (0200.00) Dollars has been made for the
purchase of said City's right, title and interest in said real property together
with the further consideration of their agreement to surrender to the City Trams
of the City of Anaheim for his cancellation of all outstanding 1911 Act Bonds and
Coupons being a lien upon said real property, by private individuals, to-wit:
John Shea and Eilemore M. Shea, husband and wife, as joint tenants.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH3 CITY 0P ANA=
that it does hereby sell all of the right, title and interest of said City of
Anaheim in and to said above described real property unto John Shea and ll.lenore M.
Shea, husband and wife, as joint tenants, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim are hereby authorised and directed to make, execute and deliver into
said John Shea and Ellenore M. Shea, husband and wife, as joint tenants, all of
the right, title and interest•of said City of Anaheim in and to said real property.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this 27th day of
.May, 1947.
