Dear Anaheim City Council –

Last year the 4 of July illegal fireworks started a full week before the 4 had arrived –
the booms were loud & unbelievable in my area – Orange/Agate 92804. I am hoping
& praying this year that - & I know that people will set off illegal fireworks as they
must – but I will be hoping that this year will be different in that these people will be
caught & fined – what a perfect way for the City to reap some money for the
coffers!.....Please try the best possible way to keep the illegal fireworks at a minimum
…..& I thank you very much for ALL THAT YOU DO TO KEEP THIS CITY SAFE!!!....

FIRST TIME IN 50 YEARS FIREWORKS DID NOT
CONTINUE UNTIL THE WEE HOURS OF SUNDAY A.M.
!!! THANK YOU !!! first time!!
Whatever you guys did finally worked! I am adding the code enforcement
to this thank-you email because I am guessing that department had a lot
to do with making it a team effort to finally make the City of Anaheim’s
residents/visitors follow the rules. Thank you very much – It was still loud,
& no doubt some of those bombs going off were illegally set --- but finally
the noise did not go on & on into the night & a.m. hours like every year
past.
I wish something else could be sold as fundraising money instead of
fireworks as one can see the quality of air today, Sunday, is so smoky it
does make it very unhealthy to breathe. Boxed cookies – or something??

Thank you again for any/all efforts to make the 4 this year relatively quiet
after midnight (yes, some were still bombing after 10 pm in 92804 area) -
!! All efforts were totally appreciated I’m sure by many, many --- & I am
included !!
