E-bikes can be a fun and convenient way to get around, but the injuries from
crashes can be serious.
As Orange County’s only Level I trauma center, UCI Health sees firsthand the
impact these injuries can have. In collaboration with Fullerton Police Department,
trauma surgeon Dr. Sigrid Burruss shares what riders and families should know,
including the importance of helmets, safe speeds and following traffic laws.
A safer ride starts before you get on the bike.
