Dear Scott Koehm, For the last 47 years I have resided in the East end of Anaheim. There have been many changes over those years, many of which have benefited this area. I have not felt strongly that these changes would be harmful to myself, and those within this community. However, the proposed Deer Canyon Preserve Project is a development which would multiply the already burdensome traffic on both street and freeway, increase fire hazards, impact timely fire evacuation efforts and endanger the citizens of this community. Traffic in this area has become even more problematic because Weir Canyon and Serrano are used as the connector from Orange County to South-Corona to bypass the gridlock to get to the Riverside Fwy in lieu of using the 241 Toll Road. The traffic has increased exponentially in the past several years since the plans for the proposed Mid-County Parkway direct South Corona-OC Connector linking Weir Canyon Road to South County was stalled years ago. This is a safety concern for this community with the increase in potential fire hazards and compromise of life saving fire evacuation efforts. Please share my concerns and comments. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Connie Kouri 1012 S. Laughingbrook Court Anaheim, CA 92808 Cell# 714-319-0511 1 Email: conniko@sbcglobal.net 2
