Do not click links or open a?achments unless you recognize the sender and are expec?ng the message. For the Deer Canyon EIR report, please look into the added danger of pu?ng housing into this Very High Fire Severity Zone, that also has very high voltage power lines above/directly adjacent to the development. This is going to greatly increase the fire danger to all of the homes in the area, should even one of those power lines break during our many Santa Ana wind events. Further, please consider & study Santa Ana Canyon, and the 1,000’s of people who will burn to death in their cars if the highly flammable trees along that road catch fire. Lastly, please have REALISTIC traffic studies done. Since the 2017 Canyon II fire (where is took people 3 hours to go from just Weir Canyon to Imperial Hwy), the city has since approved not only A) a large cemetery at Gypsum Canyon (which will add significant traffic to the area with up to 4 funeral services a day), but B) also approved the Fes?val project (which will add 1,200 cars to our roads), plus C) we also already get 100’s of extra cars in this area daily coming down Serrano to avoid 91fwy traffic. We are stuck si?ng ducks with not enough infrastructure to evacuate… this project would put another nail in the coffin of 1,000’s of exis?ng residents who already cannot evacuate ?mely from fires.
