1965-031WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with ALBERT S. TOUSSAU and MARIE TOUSSAU at
Orange County Title Company, Santa Ana, California, for the
purchase of the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes for the sum of $27,500.00, lawful money of
the United States; and
WHEREAS, said Orange County Title Company is now
ready to close said escrow, and a deed has been prepared convey-
ing said property to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all
encumbrances except the second half of all general and special
taxes for the fiscal year 1964 -65, and all covenants, conditions,
restrictions, reservations, rights, rights of way and easements
of record, as approved by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:
The North 203 feet of the East 130 feet of the
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian.
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby
accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to forward a warrant
of the City of Anaheim made payable to Orange County Title
Company in the amount of $27,500.00 addressed to Orange County
Title Company, 421 North Main Street, Santa Ana, California,
attention, Hal Loomis, Escrow No. 871147 -HL.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be, and
it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendors the amount
of the purchase price of said property, heretofore deposited in
escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been met and
complied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of January, 1965.
