64-970WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real pro-
perty for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to quitclaim the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept a quitclaim Deed for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of J. H. Beatty, a widower,
to quitclaim to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for municipal purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of the North half of the South half of the North-
west quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 12, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa Ana, in tne county of Orange, state of California, as
said Section is shown on a map recorded in book 51 page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder
of said county, lying southerly of the Anaheim Union Water
Co's Main canal the location of which is indicated by the
existing facilities of said water company, and lying north-
erly of the center line of the Anaheim Union Water Co's
right of way as described in a decree rendered by the
Superior Court of the state of California in and for the
county of Orange on February 29, 1916, a certified copy of
which was recorded March 7, 1916 in book 281 page 126 of
Deeds, records of said Orange County, and lying easterly of
the southerly prolongation of the West line of the Last 0.50
acres of that portion of said North half lying northerly of
said Anaheim Union Water Co's main canal.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a Quit
claim Deed for said property.
