A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council cf the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT C. MILLER a married
man as his sole and sparate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
ublic utilit •ur.oses
and more particular '_y described as o ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 60.00 feet of that
portion of Lot 7 in Block 17 of a subdivision of the
South half of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.S. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 7;
thence North 0 40' 20" East 669.60 feet along the
West line of said Lot 7 to the Northwest corner
thereof; thence South 89 43' 50" East 339.00 feet,
along the North line of said lot; thence South 0 33' 10"
West 668.87 feet to the South line of said Lot 7 (for
the purpose of this description, said South line is
assumed to be the center line of Katella Avenue);
thence North 89 51' 10" West 340.40 feet along said
South line to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the West 150.00 feet thereof.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
aace of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVf.D that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, nit of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00),
