OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
RESOLUTION NO o 64R 952
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; nd
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
BAPTIST CONVENTION

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
_public utilit purposes
and more particular y described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southerly 32.00 feet, as measured at right
angles from the center line of Orange Avenue, and public
utility overhang easement for electric power lines and cross
arms, over, along and across the Easterly 3.00 feet of the
Easterly 98.08 feet of the South one -third of the East half
of the following described parcel of land:
Commencing at a point on the South line of Broadway Street
at the Northwest corner of lands formerly of Lumis A. Evans
and thence South 80 rods, more or less, to the South line
of the quarter Section; thence West 60 rods to a stake;
thence North 80 rods, more or less, to said Broadway Street;
and thence East 60 rods to the place of beginning, and
containing 30 acres of land, more or less, and being a
part of the South half of the Northeast quarter of the
Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
Excepting therefrom any portion thereof included in the
Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the North-
east quarter of said Section 17.
For the purpose of this description, the center line of
Orange Avenue is assumed to be the Southerly boundary
of the above described land.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
