A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF NAHEIM ERTAIN REftL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
an
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JOE A. CANO, a single
man
to sel to t:e City of Anaheim t e following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
_public utility purposes

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 45 feet, as measured at right angles,
from the center line of Lemon Street, of the following des-
cribed parcel of land:
The North 40 feet of the South 160 feet of the East 135.32
feet of Lot 9/ A" of Tract No. 97, as shown on a Map thereof
recorded in Book 11, page 39 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
Note: For the purpose of this description, the East line
of the above described parcel is assumed to be the center
line of Lemon Street.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
