A RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REWESTIK THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO
INCLUDE WITHIN THE, ARTERIAL, RIHWAY FINANCING
PROGRAM THE DEVELOPMENT OF MIRALOMA AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to improve
Miraloma Avenue from Dowlingvenue
to DLAP_GgP_Stret. and
WHEREAS, Miraloma Avenue
is an important
artery in the County of Oraege and of geeerel County interest; and
WHEREAS, Article 2 and Article 3, Chapter 9, Division
of the Streets and Highways Code authorizes a County, if it so
desires, to expend funds apportioned to it out of the California
Highway Users Tax Fund for aid to any City in the improvement,
construction or repair of a street within a City; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors intends to, by appro-
priate action, provide in the County Budget of the Special Road
Improvement Fund for the Fiscal Year 1965 a sum of
money for the improvement of streets Athit the incorporated
cities of the County in accordance it the Orange County Arterial
Highway Finaecing Program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby requests the Board
of Supervisors of the Couhty of Orange to allocate to said City
from County Funds the amount of t1840

said City in the improvement of Miraloma Avenue
from

Biue Gum Street and for the acquisi-
tion of necessary rights of way; said improvements and acquisition
of rights of way to be in accordance with the attached project
statement.
BE IT FURTHER RESCIVED that the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Orange is hereby requested to find that said work
and acquisition of rights of way on Miraloma Avenue
in the manner provided, ts in the general County interest.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, by this resolution, the City
of Anaheim agrees with the basic concepts of the Arterial High
Financing Program; anal further agrees that its share of the cost
of improvements and rights of way will be available for the fiscal
year 1965
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this
resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, Califor-
nia, and a certified copy to the County Surveyor and Road Commis-
sioner, 400 West 8th Street, Sarta ALa, California.
