64-910and RESOLUTION NO. 64R 910 -1- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY AND ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for public utility and road and public utility purposes WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of FREDRICKS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for _public utility and road and public utilit .ur•,oses and more particularly escribed as follows: PARCEL ONE: An easement for public utility overhang purposes for electric power lines and cross -arms over, under, along and across the Easterly 3.00 feet of the following parcels of land: Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Tract No. 2688, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 95, pages 3, 4 and 5 of Miscel- laneous Maps, records of said Orange County. PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under, along and across the Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles from the center line of State College Boulevard, formerly known as Placentia Avenue) of the following parcels of land: Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Tract No. 2688, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 95, pages 3, 4 and 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. Note: For the purpose of this description the center line of State College Boulevard is assumed to be the west line of the above mentioned property. PARCEL THREE: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under, along and across a portion of Lot 7, Tract No. 2688, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 95, pages 3, 4 and 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at the center line intersection of State College Boulevard, formerly known as Placentia Avenue, and Virginia Avenue, as shown on a Map of said Tract No. 2688; thence South 0 11' 10" West along the center line of said State College Boulevard a distance of 45.34 feet; thence South 89 48' 50" East to a point in a line which is parallel with and distant 53.00 feet Easterly as measured at right angles from the center line of said State College Boulevard, said point also being the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Northerly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 90 16' 57' an arc distance of 23.64 feet to a point of intersection with a line parallel with and 30.00 feet Southerly as measured at right angles from the center line of said Virginia Avenue; thence North 0 11' 10" East a distance of 30.00 feet to the center line of Virginia Avenue; thence North 89 48' 50" West along the center line of Virginia Avenue a distance of 68.22 feet to the point of beginning. Note: For the purpose of this description the center line of State College Boulevard is assumed to be the West line of said Lot 7. PARCEL FOUR: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under, along and across a portion of Lot 6 of Tract No. 2688, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 95, pages 3, 4 and 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the center line intersection of State College Boulevard, formerly known as Placentia Avenue, and Virginia Avenue, as shown on a Map of said Tract No. 2688; thence North 0 11' 10" East along the center line of said State College Boulevard a distance of 44.71 feet; thence South 89 48' 50" East to a point in a line which is parallel with and distant 53.00 feet Easterly as measured at right angles from the center line of said State College Boulevard, said point also being the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 89 45' 14" an arc distance of 23.48 feet to a point of intersection with a line parallel with and 30.00 feet Northerly as measured at right angles from the center line of Virginia Avenue; thence South 0 11' 10" West a distance of 30.00 feet to the center line of said Virginia Avenue; thence North 89 48' 50" West along the center line of Virginia Avenue a distance of 67.81 feet to the point of beginning. Note: For the purpose of this description, the center line of State College Boulevard is assumed to be the West line of said Lot 6. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
