A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT EMPLOYING
CONVERSE FOUNDATION ENGINEERS TO PROVIDE
SOIL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION
-WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AND WATER
TRANSMISSION LINES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of soil
engineering services in connection with the construction
of roads and water transmission lines; and
WHEREAS, Converse Foundation Engineers is qualified
to render such soil engineering services and desires to be
employed for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, Converse Foundation Engineers has sub-
mitted a proposal for said engineering work dated November
18, 1964, signed by James R. Davis, the terms and conditions
of which proposal, including fees, are satisfactory to the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Converse Foundation Engineers
be employed to provide soil engineering services in connec-
tion with the construction of roads and water transmission
lines on Projects 7 and 8, and in connection with Work
Orders Nos. 6001 and 6002, such services being performed as
required by the City of Anaheim and for a consideration as
particularly set forth in the proposal letter of Converse
Foundation Engineers dated November 18, 1964.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 24th day of November, 1964.
