A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE' CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BIGE E. GARDNER and
BESSIE M. GARDNER, husband and wife,

to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 32 feet of that portion
of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
in the Rancho Las Bolsas, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 28;
thence North 0 55' 00" West, along the East line of
the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 28; also being the center line of Loara Street,
244.72 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
South 89 15' 22" West 161.13 feet to a point on the
East line of the West 500 feet of the Southeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of said Section 28; thence North 0 55' 35"
West along the last mentioned line 84.72 feet to a
point on the North line of the Southeast quarter of
the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of said Section 28; thence
North 89 15' 06" East along the last mentioned line
161.15 feet to the center line of said Loara Street;
thence South 0 55' 00" East along said center line
of Loara Street 84.73 feet to the true point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of November 19 64
