64-782WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of the property described in Reclassification No. 64-65-18 Dy South Street on the north; State College Boulevard on the west; Wagner Avenue on the south; and the City Park and School District adjacent to Sunkist Street on the east, and comprising approximately eighty acres, as shown and described on Exhibit "A" in the City Planning Department, after having Fe177 public hearing in the manner and as prescribed by to consider said proposed amendment, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, following the hearing thereon, the Planning Com- mission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said amendment to the General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 19; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evi- dence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 27th day of October 19 64 as the time and, the Council Chambeir City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said pro- posed Amendment No. 19 to the General Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and WHEREAS, at ,the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the aforementioned and described property included within the pro- posed amendment to the General Plan is more suitable for the general land use presently shown on the General Plan Map, and that Amendment No. 19 to the General Plan, covering the afore- mentioned and descriFa included within the proposed Amend- ment No. 19 to the General Plan, should not be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 19 to the General Plan, encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property, as shown on said Exhibit "A" be and the same is hereby disap- proved as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
