A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of JAMES EMMI and VELMA
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Southeast quarter of
Section 34, Township 3 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, Page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said section,
North 0 05' 19' 1120.75 feet from the southeast
corner thereof; thence North 89 36' 04" West 42.00
feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 89 36'
04" West 374.76 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave southeasterly having a radius of 50.00 feet;
thence southwesterly 32.18 feet along said curve through
a central angle of 36 52' 12" to the beginning of a
reverse tangent curve having a radius of 50.00 feet;
thence westerly, northerly and easterly 221.43 feet along
said curve through a central angle of 253 44' 24" to
the beginning of a reverse tangent curve having a radius
of 50.00 feet; thence southeasterly 32.18 feet along said
curve through a central angle of 36 52' 12"; thence
South 89 36' 04" East 374.24 feet tangent to said last
mentioned curve; thence South 0 05' 19" East 60.00 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of Octobe 1964
