A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE'CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of STANLEY L. ROSEN and
PEARL ROSEN, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 32.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of West Street) of
the West 170 feet of the South 60 feet of that portion
of Lot 10 of Miles Rancho, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 9 of said
Miles Rancho, said corner being the center line inter-
section of the roads shown on said Map adjoining said
Lot 9 on the North and West; thence South 0 29' 10"
East, along the Westerly lines of Lots 9 and 10, 658.00
feet to the true point of beginning of this description;
thence North 89 43' 20" East, parallel with the North
line of said Lot 9, 362.95 feet to the Easterly line
of that certain parcel deeded to Davis Corderman, and
recorded in Book 1136, page 18 of Official Records;
thence South 0 24' 00" East along said Easterly line
of Corderman 120.00 feet; thence South 89 43' 20" West
parallel to the North line of said Lot 9, 362.77 feet
to the Westerly line of said Lot 10; thence North 0
29' 10" West, 120.00 feet to the true point of begin-
ning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)0
