desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JESSE EDWARD PRUETT and
CALLIE A. PRUETT, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THECITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 114, of Tract 1429,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 46, pages 17 and 18
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Southerly
prolongation of the Westerly line of said Lot 114 with
the center line of East Center Street, as shown on a
Map of said Tract No. 1429; thence North 15 24' West
along said Southerly rolongation a distance of 53.00
feet; thence North 74 30' East a distance of 90.66
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence
Easterly and Northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 89 54' 00' an arc distance of 23.53
feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and
30.00 feet Westerly of the center line of Evergreen
Street, as shown on the map of said Tract 1429; thence
North 74 36' East a distance of 30.00 feet to the
center line of said Evergreen Street; thence South 15
24' East along the center line of Evergreen Street a
distance of 67.92 feet to the point of intersection
with the center line of said East Center Street; thence
South 74 30' West along the center line of East Center
Street a distance of 135.63 feet to the point of begin-
ning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
