A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR POLES AND
ELECTRIC POWER LINES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for poles and
electric power lines
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JACK E. RILEY and
MARJORIE P. RILEY husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for poles and
electric ower lines
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of
poles and electric power lines over, under and across
the Westerly 10.00 feet of the Easterly 20.00 feet of
that portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said Northwest
quarter of Section 26, distant thereon South 967.99 feet
from the Northeast corner of said Northwest quarter;
thence North 88 41' 15' West 117.70 feet to the Easterly
line of the 60 foot right of way of the Southern Pacific
Railroad; thence Southeasterly along said right of way
line to the South line of said Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter; thence Easterly to the Southeast
corner of said Northeast quarter; thence North to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, th sum of One Doll .r 01.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
