A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purch,.sing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for drainage
purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council cf the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of LUSK CORPORATION
to sell to t e City of Anaheim t:.e following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for drainage
purposes
and more particular y descried as o lows:
An easement for drainage purposes over and across that parcel
of land being a portion of the land allotted to the Heirs of
Leandro Serrano in Decree of Partition of Rancho Santiago
de Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th
Judicial District Court of California, and a portion of
Tract 4690, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 204,
pages 36, 37 and 38 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwesterly boundary of said Tract 4690,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 204, pages 36, 37 and 38
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, at
the Southeasterly terminus of the course therein shown as
North 56 29' 54' West 131.13 feet; thence South 4 19' 35"
East 76.00 feet- thence North 85 40' 25" East 604.53 feet;
thence North 82 38 41 East 391.07 feet; thence North
77 54' 37" East 165.80 feet. thence South 89 19' 57" East
271.56 feet; thence North 28 11 03" East 126.68 feet;
thence North 12 21' 25" West 21.81 feet; thence South
83 43' 24" West 234.05 feet thence South 80 18' 25" West
698.36 feet; thence South 82 37' 52" West 483.62 feet;
thence North 76 11' 18" West 87.06 feet; to the true point
of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and th.t the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, tha sum of One Doll r ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th d of April 1965
