A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY" OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER LINE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for water line
purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of LONG BEACH LEASING

property situated in the City of An =heim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for water line
purposes
An easement for the installation and maintenance of a
water line over, under and across those portions of
Lot 20 in Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellane-
ous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and that
portion of Lots 9 and 10 of Orange Grove Acres, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 6, page 42 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE:
A strip of land 8.00 feet in width, the Easterly line of
said strip being described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Easterly line of
said Lot 9 and the Southerly line of La Palma Avenue
(106 feet wide) as said intersection is shown on a Record
of Survey Map filed in Book 57, page 17 of Record of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
thence South 73 44' 00" West along said Southerly line
a distance of 379.00 feet to the point of intersection with
a line which is parallel with and distant Westerly 370.00
feet, measured at right angles, from the Easterly line of
said Lot 9, said point of intersection being the true point
of beginning; thence South 3 45' 10` East along said
parallel line a distance of 641.756 feet to a point herein-
after referred to as Point "A thence continuing South 3
45' 10" East a distance of 66.244 feet to a point herein-
after referred to as Point "B."

PARCEL TWO:
A strip of land 8.00 feet in width, the Southerly line
of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at Point "B" referred to in above described
Parcel One; thence North 86 14' 50" East 370.00 feet
to the point of intersection with the Easterly line of
Lot 9 of said Orange Grove Acres, said point of inter-
section being hereinafter referred to as Point "C."
Said Southerly line to be extended Westerly to the inter-
section with the Westerly line of Parcel One.
PARCEL THREE:
A strip of land 8.00 feet in width, the Easterly line
being described as follows:
Beginning at Point "C" referred to in the above described
Parcel Two; thence South 3 45' 10" East 289.54 feet to
the intersection with the Northerly line of that parcel
of land conveyed to the State of California by deed
recorded February 24, 1956 in Book 3410, page 131 of
Official Records.
PARCEL FOUR:
A strip of land 10.00 feet in width, the Southerly line
of said strip being described as follows: Beginning at
Point "A," referred to in above described Parcel One;
thence South 73 44' 00" West 51.00 feet.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 8.00 feet lying within
Parcel One.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of April 19 65
