A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CIT
PROPERTY FOR EAS' NTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY AND PUBLIC UTILITY OVERHANG PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous c,f purchasing the herein -fter described.re 1 property

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and be t intere, t of the City of

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ALVIN H. ROHRS and IDA A.

PARCEL ONE:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 47 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel
filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, a copy of which is recorded in Book 3 pages
163 et seq, entitled "Los Angeles County Maps" in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Santa Ana
Street with the center line of Hessel Street, shown on
a Map of Tract No. 3970, recorded in Book 141, page 43
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence North 02 07 05" West along the center line of
said Hessel Street, a distance of 58.60 feet; thence
South 88 56' 14 West a distance of 30.00 feet; thence
South 02 07' 05" East a distance of 71.18 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and
Easterly along said curve through a central angle of
79 47' 42" an arc distance of 20.89 feet to a point;
thence tangent to said curve South 81 54' 47" East
a distance of 28.04 feet; thence North 02 07' 17" West
a distance of 29.97 feet to an intersection with the
center line of Santa Ana Street; thence North 81 54' 47"
West along the center line of said Santa Ana Street a
distance of 10.10 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO:
An easement for public utility overhang purposes for
electric power lines and cross arms over, under, along
and across the Southerly 3.00 feet and the Easterly
3.00 feet of that portion of Lot 47 of Anaheim Exten-
sion, as per Map of Survey by William Hamel filed in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, a
copy of which is recorded in Book 3, pages 163 et seq.
entitled '`Los Angeles County Maps" in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of Lot
20 of Tract No. 3970, in said City, as per Map recorded in
Book 141, page 43 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, with the Southerly prolongation of the
Westerly line of Adams Street (formerly shown as the
Westerly Hessel Avenue) per Map filed in Book 1, page 49
of Record of Surveys in said office of the County
Recorder of Orange County; thence Northerly along said
prolongation and said Westerly line to a point thereon
distant Northerly 57.92 feet from the Southerly line of
West Santa Ana Street (shown as the un -named east -west
street) per said Map filed in Book 1, page 49 of Record
of Surveys; thence at right angles Easterly 30.00 feet
to the Easterly line of said Adams Street; thence along
said Easterly line Northerly 18.5 feet, more or less,
to a line parallel with and Southerly 0.10 feet from
the South line of the existing Ice House Building;
thence along said parallel line Easterly 132.6 feet to
the Westerly line of Hessel Avenue (shown as the
Easterly Hessel Avenue) per said Map filed in Book 1,
page 49 of Record of Surveys; thence Southerly along said
Westerly line to the said Southerly line of West Santa
Ana Street; thence Easterly along said Southerly line
to that certain Westerly line of said Tract No. 3970
shown on said Map as "N 2 07' 17" W 37.75' fl thence
Southerly along said line to the Southerly terminus
thereof; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of Lots
17, 18, 19 and 20 of said Tract to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included in Parcel One
above.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
