1965-245WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition of certain
real property owned by Anna Zahl in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, being a portion of Section 27,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., together with an
interest in a portion of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. M., all as more fully set forth in the Lease and
Option Agreement dated February 25, 1965, it is in the best
interests o the City of Anaheim to lease said property with
an option to purchase at a later date for a sum certain; and
WHEREAS, both Anna Zahl and the City of Anaheim desire
to enter into a Lease and Option Agreement covering said land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor Pro Tem and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim that certain Lease and
Option Agreement dated February 25, 1965 with Anna Zahl as
Lessor and the City of Anaheim as Lessee.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Lease and
Option Agreement to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING is approved and signed by me this 30th
