A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AREA DEVELOPMENT
PLAN NO. 8 (EXHIBIT "B
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider Area Development
Plan No. 8, encompassing an area more particularly hereinafter
described, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports
from persons interested therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending approval of Area Develop-
ment Plan No. 8, Exhibit "B and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 30th day of
March, 1965, as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
ing upon said Area Development Plan No. 8; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Area Development Plan No. 8, Exhibit "B should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Area Development Plan No. 8, Exhibit "B
encompassing all the following described area:
Those certain properties fronting on the south side
of Ball Road, between Palm Street and Iris Street, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia,
he, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned and
described Area Development Plan No. 8, Exhibit "B constitutes
one reasonable and possible method of development of the area
in question, and said Area Development Plan No. 8, Exhibit "B
represents one possible plan based on the General Plan hereto-
fore adopted by the City of Anaheim and further represents one
possible plan of development consistent with the systematic
execution of said General Plan.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 30th day of March, 1965.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Krein and Chandler
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor Pro Tem of the
City of Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 30th
day of March, 1965.
