A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEIE
CITY OF ANAHEIM .AI LADING RESOLUTION NO.
65R -159 FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT,
TO WIT: FURNISHING, FABRICATION AND
ERECTION OF STRUCTURAL STEEL FOR THE
ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER, JOB NO. 932,
BY CHANGING THE, DATE FOR THE OPENING OF
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR SAID PUBLIC IMPROVE-
MENT; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF SAID CHANGE OF DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on March 2, 1965 adopt
its Resolution No. 65R -159 finding and determining that public
convenience and necessity require the construction and comple-
tion of a public improvement, to wit:
Furnishing, fabrication and erection of
structural steel for the Anaheim Convention
Center, in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 932.
and authorizing the City Clerk to publish a notice according
to law, inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of all
plant, labor, services, materials, etc. for the construction
and completion of said public improvement and fixing the 23rd
day of March, 1965 at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M. as the
date and hour for the opening of said bids; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereafter, to wit, on
March 9, 1965, adopt Resolution No. 65R -183 finding and determin-
ing that the date fixed for the opening of said sealed proposals,
March 23, 1965, would not give the bidders sufficient time to
prepare their proposals on said public improvement, and amending
Resolution No. 65R -159 by changing the date for the opening of
sealed proposals to March 30, 1965 at the hour of 10:00 o'clock
A.M.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that a further
extension of time is necessary for the preparation of sealed
proposals on said public improvement, and that the date for the
opening of sealed proposals should be changed to April 6, 1965,
and the City Clerk authorized to publish a notice according to
law giving notice of said change of date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 65R -159 be and the
same is hereby amended by changing the date for the opening of
sealed proposals for the public improvement therein described
to April 6, 1965 at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A. M.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice
according to law, in the Anaheim Bulletin, giving notice of
said change of date for the opening of sealed proposals in
connection with the above mentioned public improvement.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 65R -183
be and the same is hereby superseded by the foregoing resolu-
tion and that except as amended herein said Resolution No.
65R -159 be and remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of March, 1965.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 23rd day of
March, 1965.
