1965-222WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did, on
March 1, 1965, adopt Resolution No. 1557 Series 1964 -65
finding and recommending to the City Council that the name
of a certain street in the northeast Anaheim area, extending
easterly from Jefferson Street to a point approximately 500
feet east of Van Buren Street, designated as Walnut Street,
be changed to Coronado Street; and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration of the matter,
the City Council does find that in accordance with the find-
ings and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
in order to avoid confusion, public convenience and neces-
sity require that the name of that certain street in the
northeast area of the City of Anaheim, designated as Walnut
Street, be changed to Coronado Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the name of that certain street
in the northeast area of the City of Anaheim, extending east-
erly from Jefferson Street to a point approximately 500 feet
east of Van Buren Street, designated as Walnut Street, be,
and the same is hereby, changed to Coronado Street.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
