A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF NAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT R. DOWLING and
MARfUITA S. DOWLING husband and wife and WILLIAM H. DOWLING
and NORA DOWLING, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of An; =heim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 53.00 feet, as measured
at right angles from the center line of Orangethorpe Avenue
of the Westerly 240.28 feet of the following described
parcel of land:
That portion of Block G of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Be-
ginning at a point on the Northerly line of said Block G,
distant South 87 East 1867.40 feet from a stone at the North-
west corner of said Block G; thence South 87 East 811.00
feet; thence South 7 East 955.00 feet, more or less, to a
point on the Southerly boundary of said Block G; thence South
73 32' 00" West 811.00 feet; thence North 7 West 1227.00
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description the center line of Orange
thorpe Avenue is assumed to be the Southerly boundary of the
above described parcel.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and thv the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of An..heim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the' City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
