A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR SEWER DRAINAGE
AND INCIDENTAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An e;..sement for sewer,
drainage and incidental ournoses
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GEORGE D. BUCCOLA and
CATHERINE C. BUCCOLA, husband and wife,
to sell to t City of Anaheim t e following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for sewer,
drainage and incidental ur oses
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for sewer, drainage and incidental purposes over
the Westerly 10 feet of that portion of Lot 18, Anaheim Home-
stead Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 26, page 10
of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 18; thence
North 85 30' East 75.00 feet; thence South 4 30' East,
140.66 feet to the North line of the land described in the
deed to Ruth Brown, recorded May 8, 1952 in Book 2326, page
519 of Official Records of said Orange County; thence Westerly
along said North line to the Northwest corner of said land con-
veyed to Brown, said corner being on the Westerly line of
said lot; thence Northerly along said Westerly line to the
point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom any portion lying within Tract No. 3794,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 138, pages 25 and 26
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of March 19 65
