A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SAMUEL POP and ALMA M. POP,
husbPnd and wife,
to sell to tie City of Anaheim t e following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particul r y descri edl as o ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot Three of the Golden State
Tract No. 2, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 68 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 3 of said Golden
State Tract No. 2; thence North 00 00' 50 East 200.00 feet
along the Easterly line of said Lot 3, said Easterly line
also being the center line of State College Boulevard; thence
North 89 04' 57" West 53.01 feet; thence South 00 00' 50"
West 124.60 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northwesterly having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southerly
and Westerly along said curve, through a central angle of
90 54' 13" an arc distance of 39.66 feet; thence South
00 00' 50" West 50.00 feet to the intersection with the
Southerly line of said Lot 3; thence Easterly along said
Southerly line, 79.19 feet to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom that portion conveyed to the State of
California by deed recorded March 3, 1958 in Book 4214,
page 314 of Official Records of Orange County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVfiD that the City Auditor of the.
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1000).
THE FOROING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of March 1965.
