RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 200
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF A CONCESSION CONTRACT, RELATING TO
ANAHEIM STADIUM, WITH AUTOMATIC CANTEEN COMPANY
OF AMERICA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to conduct and
operate a sports stadium in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that major league base-
ball and football, as well as other activities, will be conducted
in said stadium; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make food, beverages and
other articles available to patrons of said stadium; and
WHEREAS, an investigation of twelve prospective con-
cessionaires has revealed that the Automatic Canteen Company
of America is an experienced concessionaire; will install con-
cession equipment deemed suitable by City; has a good financial
background; and will provide the best return to the City; and
WHEREAS, a copy of a contract to be entered into by
the City of Anaheim and Automatic Canteen Company of America
is marked i Exhibit A" and is attached and made a part of this
resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the contract marked "Exhibit A,"
attached hereto, be and it is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim be and they are hereby authorized
to sign said contract for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of March, 1965.
