A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A PROPOSED REVISION IN
THE FREEWAY AGREEMENT RELATING TO STATE HIGH-
WAY, ROAD 07- ORA -57, TO PROVIDE A PEDESTRIAN
OVERCROSSING AT UNDERHILL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange and the State of Califor-
nia have heretofore entered into a Freeway Agreement dated February
24, 1959 relating to the portion of State Highway, Road 07- ORA -57
between the Orange City Limits at Sycamore Street and the Los
Angeles Orange County Line; and
WHEREAS, portions of this route are now within the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, further engineering studies indicate that the
following revisions are desirable, to wit:
Provide a pedestrian overcrossing at Underhill
Avenue as shown on the attached print labeled
Exhibit "A,' dated February 15, 1955 and made a
part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and ordered that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim hereby concurs and approves the
proposed revision as set forth hereinabove, it being understood
that a revised freeway agreement incorporating said revision is to
be entered into at some future date
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of the
pedestrian overcrossing by the State, the City will accept and
maintain said pedestrian overcrossing in its entirety except for
damage to the structure resulting from freeway vehicular traffic
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of March, 1965.
