A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER LINE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An element for water line
purposes
and

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAN L. ROWLAND and
VERLEE J. ROWLAND husband and wife
to sel to t City of Anaheim tae following described real
property situated in the City of An helm, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for water line
purposes
and more particular ,_y described as of ows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of
a water line under and across the Westerly 10 feet
of that portion of Lot 18, Anaheim Homestead Tract,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 26, page 10 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 18;
thence North 85 24' 40" East 75.00 feet along
the Northerly line of said lot; thence
South 4 35' 20" East 116.45 feet to the most
Northerly Northeast corner of Lot 11 in Tract
No. 3794, as per Map recorded in Book 138,
pages 25 and 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County; thence South 85 27' 32"
West 54.26 feet to the Northwest corner of said
Lot 11; thence North 14 41' 30" West 118.24 feet
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
