1965-151WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of the property described in Reclassification Proceedin:s No. 64 an eing genera y ounce• y. A line approximately 500 ft. west of Dale St. west on the west; Broadway on the south; a line approximately 150 ft. west of Dale St. west on the east; and a line approximately 200 ft. south of Lincoln Avenue on the north, and comprising approximately five 5 acres, as shown and described on Exhibit 'A on Ile in the City Planning Department, after having Earq public hearing in the manner and as prescribed by law to consider said proposed amendment, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, following the hearing thereon, the Planning Com- mission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opini•.ns and reasons for recommending denial of said amendment to the General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 48 and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evi- dence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 12th day of Januar 19 65 as the time and, the Council Chamber the City Ha o t e City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said pro- posed Amendment No. 48 to the General Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning 0ommission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the aforementioned and described property included within the pro- posed amendment to the General Plan is more suitable for the general land use presently shown on the General Plan Map, and that Amendment No. 48 to the General Plan, covering the afore- mentioned and descrii property included within the proposed Amend- ment No. 48 to the General Plan, should not be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 48 to the General Plan, encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property, as shown on said Exhibit "A" RESOLUTION N0. 65R 151 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 48 be and the same is hereby disap- proved as recommended by the City Planning Commission THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 23rd day of February 19 65 ATTEST: CITY CLE STATE OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF ORANGE CITY OF ANAHEIM I, DENE M.
