1965-149WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed
a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hearing
to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opin-
ions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed change
in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupn
fix the 12th day of 19 65 as the time and
the Council Chamber in the Ci�all of the City of Anaheim as
the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone
or zones and did give notice thereof in the manner and as pro-
vided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as here-
inafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in
which it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should
not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,State of California,
described as follows:

The West 7 acres of the North 20 acres of Lot 10 of
Anaheim Extension, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof
made by William Hamel and filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all that portion of said land
lying 40 feet Northerly of the center line of East
Broadway, as shown on a map of Tract No. 1565, re-
corded in book 49, pages 19 through 24 inclusive, and
Tract No. 1770, recorded in book 59, pages 7 through
10 inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said

Orange County, as granted to the City of Anaheim, a
municipal corporation, in deed recorded October 13,
1954, in book 2841, page 188, Official Records, in
the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
