RESOLUTION NO. 653-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CE TAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
ublic utilit •u •oses
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council cf the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVID CORDERMAN and
LOUISE B. CORDERMAN husband and wife
to sell to the ity of Anaheim The following described rear
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
ublic utilit •ur•oses
and more particular y described as o1 ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, above
and across the West 32.00 feet (as measured at right angles
to the centerline of West Street) of that portion of Lot
10 of Miles Rancho, per Map thereof recorded in Book 4,
page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of said Lot 10, 223.00
feet North of the Southwest corner thereof, said point being
also the Northwest corner of the land conveyed to Jess R.
Leos et ux by deed recorded June 21, 1954 in Book 2753,
page 106 of Official Records; thence Easterly along the North
line of said land conveyed to Leos, 170.00 feet; thence North,
parallel to the West line of said Lot 10, to the Southeast
corner of the land conveyed to Marceline I. Corderman by
deed recorded October 1, 1955 in Book 3233, page 144 of said
Official Records; thence Westerly along the South line of
said land conveyed to Marceline I. Corderman, 170.00 feet to
a point on said West line of Lot 10; thence Southerly along
said West line to the point of begining.
For the purpose of this description the West line of said
Lot 10 is assumed to be the center line of West Street.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of February 19 65
