A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of TRAGNIEW INC a Cali-
fornia corporation, N. E, PLOTNOFF an unmarried man and LAURA
W S an unmarried woman
to sel to tae City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly descri ed as foL ow s:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the North 20 feet of the South 60
feet and the East 10 feet of the West 60 feet (as
measured at right angles to the center lines of Katella
Avenue and Harbor Boulevard, respectively,) of the
following described parcel of land:
The South 310 feet of the West 260 feet of the South-
east quarter of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as said Section isshown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of said land described
in "Parcel 2" in the deed to the City of Anaheim recorded
February 7, 1956 in Book 3385, page 587 of Official
Records.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of February 1965
