1965-105WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to construct Fire
Station No. 7 to be located on the south side of Ball Road
approximately 1,320 feet east of State College Boulevard in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of architectural services
in connection with the construction of said fire station; and
WHEREAS, Charles R. Hiller, Architect, is qualified to
render such architectural services to the City, including the
general administration and supervision of the construction work,
and desires to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
said architect in the preparation of the plans and specifications
of said fire station; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement, dated February 16, 1965,
has this day been submitted to the City Council to be made and
entered into by and between Charles R. Hiller, Architect, and
the City of Anaheim, providing for the rendering of said archi-
tectural services upon the terms and conditions and for the
compensation therein set forth, which agreement the City Council
finds would be for the benefit of the City and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement, dated February 16, 1965,
this day submitted to the City Council to be made and entered
into by and between the City of Anaheim and Charles R. Hiller,
Architect, providing for the employment of said architect to
render architectural services to the City in connection with
the construction of said Fire Station No. 7, upon the terms and
conditions, and for the compensation set forth in said agree-
ment, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of February, 1965.
