A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
_public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council cf the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FREDERICK B. MORLEY and
BLANCHE MORLEY husband and wife
to sell to t e City of Anaheim t following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particular ;,_y described as fol ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 8, Block A, Tract
549, as per Map recorded in Book 18, page 23 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of N. East Street
and E. Sycamore Street, as shown on a Map of said Tract
549; thence South 74 15' 0" West along the center line
of E. Sycamore Street a distance of 145.4 feet; thence
Northerly along the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly
boundary of said Lot 8 a distance of 32.00 feet; thence
North 74 15' 0" East along a line parallel with said
center line of E. Sycamore Street, a distance of 94.91
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
westerly and having a radius of 15 feet thence Easterly
and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of
89 59' 0" an arc distance of 23.56 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 35.50 feet Westerly,
as measured at right angles from the center line of said
N. East Street; thence North 74 15' 0" East a distance
of 35.50 feet to the center line of said N. East Street;
thence South 15 49' 0" East along the center line of
said N. East Street, a distance of 46.99 feet to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
