A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN RE L
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GEORGE M. JOHANNESSEN and
ELIZABETH JOHANNESSEN husband and wife, an d OLAV E. JOHANNESSEN
and ARVIA JEAN JOHANNESSEN husband and wife
to sel to t.e City of Anaheim t: :e following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utilit •ur•oses
and more particular described as fol ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly 45 feet of
the East 420.00 feet of the Northerly 120.00
feet of the Southerly 240.00 feet of that portion
of Lot 2 in Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and
88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said lot;
thence Easterly 660.00 feet along the North
boundary thereof; thence Southerly 825.00 feet
parallel with the West boundary of said lot;
thence Westerly 660.00 feet parallel with the
North boundary of said lot to the West boundary
of said lot; thence Northerly 825.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
