A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 663.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did initiate and propose the granting of a Conditional
Use Permit to permit the operation of an existing bar on the
following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 9 of Tract No. 1851,
as shown on a Map recorded In Book 56, pages 25 and 26 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
thence South 89 31' East 107 feet along the South line of
said Lot 9 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 9; thence
leaving the South line of said Lot 9 South 0 16' 10" East
5.86 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave West-
erly and having a radius of 50.00 feet; thence Southwesterly
along said curve through a central angle of 41 24' 35" an
arc distance of 36.14 feet to a point, said point being the
beginning of a reverse curve concave Northeasterly and having
a radius of 50.00 feet, a radial line bearing North 48 51'
35" West passes through the point of beginning of said re-
verse curve; thence Southwesterly, Southerly and Easterly
along said reverse curve through a central angle of 131
24' 35" an arc distance of 114.68 feet to a point in a line
parallel with and 25 feet Southerly as measured at right
angles from the center line of Lindsay Road as shown on the
Map of said Tract No. 1851; thence South 89 31' East along
the last mentioned parallel line a distance of 49.00 feet;
thence Southeasterly to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 40.00 feet Northerly as measured at right angles
from the center line of Lincoln Avenue, said point of inter-
section being distant South 89 31' East 328.00 feet from
the West line of the Southwest quarter of Section 8, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.: thence North 89 31'
West 163.00 feet along the last mentioned parallel line to an
intersection with the East line of the West 165.00 feet of
the Southwest quarter of said Section 8; thence Northerly
along a portion of the East line of the West 165.00 feet of
the Southwest quarter of said Section 8, a distance of
223.00 feet; thence North 89 31' West a distance of 18.00
feet; thence North 0 16' 10" West a distance of 69.00 feet
to the point of beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said
application on January 4, 1965, notices of which said public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, inves-
tigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing did adopt its Resolution No. 1483, Series 1964 -65,
granting Conditional Use Permit No. 663; and

WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council
did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the
City Planning Commission in granting said Conditional Use
Permit and did thereupon fix the 2nd day of February
19 65__, as the ti. +�e and the Council Chamber in the City .11
of 6e City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said Conditional Use Permit, and notices of such public hearing
were duly given s required by 1 .end the provisions of Title
18, Chapter 18:76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public:
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct'such hear
ing an.cd did give all persons interested therein an opportunity.
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; -.nd
WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after careful conside-
ration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission
and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that:
1. The proposed use is properly one for which a
Conditional Use Permit is authorized by the
Anaheim Municipal Code.
2. The proposed use will not adversely affect the
adjoining land uses and the growth and development
of the ree in which it is proposed to be loc., ted.
3. The size and shape of the site proposed for the
use is adequate to llow; the full development of
the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
particular area nor to the peace, helth, safety
and general welfare.
4. The traffic generated by the proposed use will not
impose an undue burden upon thg,s eets and high
ways designed ,.Bnd improved to carry the tr, ffic in
the area.
5. The granting of the Conditional Use Permit under
the conditions imposed will not be detrimental to
the peace, health, safety and gener,:,1 welfare of
the citizens of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the :.ction of the City Planning Com-
mission granting s:id Conditional Use Permit be, and the
sae is hereby sustained and that Conditional Use Permit
No. 663 be, and the same is hereby, granted permitting
the operation of an existing bar on the property hereinbefore
described.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
such Conditional Use Permit for good cause or failure of said
owner, his heirs, successors or assigns to comply with the
Anaheim Municipal Code and regulations.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of February 19 65
