1965-063WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Anaheim Union Water
Company entered into an agreement as of August 27, 1964, where-
by Anaheim Union Water Company conveyed to the City of Anaheim
certain property, both real and personal, in exchange for the
City agreeing to supply water meters and appurtenances, and
irrigation water to certain water users of Anaheim Union Water
Company; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to fulfill its
obligations pursuant to the aforementioned agreement by enter-
ing into agreements with the former water users of Anaheim
Union Water Company; and
WHEREAS, Section 518 of the Charter of the City of
Anaheim permits the City Council of the City of Anaheim to
designate other officers of the City to sign agreements on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that agreements with the former water users
of the Anaheim Union Water Company for the installation of
water meters and appurtenances, such as shall be necessary to
supply water to such water users and to supply water to such
water users who are to be billed according to the irrigation
rate schedule, be and they are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Utilities Director of
the City of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized to execute
such agreements for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
