1965-052WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of geological
engineering inspection and consultation services in connection
with the construction of the Walnut Canyon Reservoir and Dam;
and
WHEREAS, Dames and Moore is qualified to render
such geological engineering inspection and consultation
services and desires to be employed for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, Dames and Moore has submitted a proposal
for said engineering services dated December 4, 1964, signed
by Don D. Roberts, the terms and conditions of which proposal,
including fees, are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Dames and Moore be employed to
provide geological engineering inspection and consultation
services in connection with the construction of the Walnut
Canyon Reservoir and Dam, such services to be performed on
Work Order No. 6004 as required by the City of Anaheim and
for a consideration as particularly set forth in the proposal
letter of Dames and Moore dated December 4, 1964.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 26th day of January, 1965.
