1965-517WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to employ an
engineer to furnish engineering services for design and instal-
lation of a central control and telemetry system for the water
transmission and distribution system operated by the Utilities
Department of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Ralph M. Parsons Company, a Nevada corpora-
tion, is qualified to render said required design and installa-
tion engineering services and desires to be employed for such
purposes; and
WHEREAS, Ralph M. Parsons Company has submitted a
proposal for the services aforesaid, dated May 12, 1965, the
terms and conditions of which proposal, including fees, are
satisfactory to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Ralph M. Parsons Company be, and it
is hereby, employed to perform all engineering services for
design and installation of a central control and telemetry sys-
tem for the water transmission and distribution system operated
by the Utilities Department of the City of Anaheim, upon the
terms and conditions, and for a total cost of $18,685.00, as
set forth in the proposal of Ralph M. Parsons Company dated
May 12, 1965.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim enter
into an agreement for such engineering services of Ralph M.
Parsons Company in substantial conformance with said proposal
of Ralph M. Parsons Company dated May 12, 1965; and that the
Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION isapproved and signed by me
