RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 503
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM EMPLOYING BECHTEL CORPORATION,
ENGINEERS AND CONSTRUCTORS, TO PERFORM EN-
GINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH ADDITIONS
AND ALTERATIONS TO THE ANAHEIM ELECTRICAL SUB-
STATION.
WHEREAS, in connection with the use and operation of
the Anaheim Electrical Substation it has become necessary to
make certain additions and alterations thereto, and to employ
engineers to render design and engineering services in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, Bechtel Corporation is qualified to render
said required design and engineering services and desires to be
employed for such purposes;and
WHEREAS, Bechtel Corporation has submitted a proposal
for the services aforesaid, dated June 8, 1965, signed by I. R.
Caraco, the terms and conditions of which proposal, including
fees, are satisfactory to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Bechtel Corporation be, and it is hereby,
employed to do and perform the design and engire eying services
and work necessary for the additions and alterations to the
Anaheim Electrical Substation on a cost plus fifteen per cent
(15 basis, but in no event to exceed the total cost of
$16,100.00, all as more particularly set forth in the proposal
letter of Bechtel Corporation dated June 8, 1965, and signed
by I. R. Caraco,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim enter
into a contract for such design and engineering services of Bech-
tel Corporation in substantial conformance with said proposal
letter of June 8, 1965; and that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 29th day of June, 1965.
