PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owner ;f said property ha offered
to sell and convey the saw to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of nahsi,' that the offer of ANAHEIM EU CONVALES
CENT HOSPITAL, a California corporation
to sell to the City of Ana hei the following described real
property situated in the City of Agnahei County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows;
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured
at right angles from the center line of Euclid Street)
of that portion of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. M., as said Section is shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, together with a portion of Lot 1 of
the Townsend Subdivision as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 5, page 40 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, and a portion of the abandoned street
adjoining said lot on the South, described as a whole
as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the North 264 feet
of the South half of the Southwest quarter of the North-
west quarter of said Section 28, and running thence
North 0 56' 30" West along the West line of said South-
west quarter of the Northwest quarter, 285.57 feet, more
or less, to the Southerly line of the Anaheim Barber City
Channel, 50 feet wide, as described in the deed recorded
June 9, 1960 in Book 5280, page 150 of Official Records,
said point being on a curve concave Northwesterly and
having a. radius of 2413.45 feet, a radial line to said
point bearing South 7 53' 42" East; thence Easterly
along said curve through a central angle of 5 44' 12"
ATTEST:
an arc distance of 241.64 feet to an angle point in
the Westerly boundary of Tract No. 3946, as shown on
the map of said tract recorded in Book 140, pages 33,
34 and 35 of Miscellaneous Ma records of said
Orange County; thence South 0 56' 30" East along said
Westerly boundary, 327.35 feet to the South line of
the North 264 feet of the South half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 28;
thence Westerly along said South line, 238 feet to
the point of beginning.
Note: For the purposes of the above description, the
center line of Euclid Street is assumed to be the West
line of the above- described land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
