A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
A FACILITY LEASE WITH COMMUNITY CENTER AUTHORITY,
A PUBLIC ENTITY
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore entered
into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, as amended, pur-
suant to provisions of Article 1, Chapter 5, Division 7,
Title 1 of the Government Code of the State of California,
dated March 1, 1965, between the City of Anaheim and the
Anaheim Union High School District creating a Community Center
Authority to construct, maintain, operate and lease buildings,
auditoriums or other exhibition buildings for educational and
public purposes, including buildings for holding sporting
events, athletic contests, exhibitions, for community re-
creation, and for public meetings; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said Joint Exercise of
Powers Agreement, the City has agreed to lease certain
real property from said Community Center Authority for the
purposes set forth therein; and
WHEREAS, a form of said lease (herein called the
"Facility Lease dated as of May 1, 1965, has been presented
by the City Attorney to the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the foregoing recitals are true
and correct and this City Council so finds and determines.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Facility Lease, in
substantially the form presented to this City Council by the
City Attorney, be and it is hereby approved and is hereby
authorized to be executed by and on behalf of the City of

Anaheim, and the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to
execute said Facility Lease, and the City Clerk of said
City be and she is hereby authorized to seal and attest
the same and to endorse upon said Facility Lease acceptance
thereof by the City of Anaheim and consent to recordation
thereof, and to cause said Facility Lease to be duly recorded
in the manner provided by law.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 24t1 day of June, -965.
