RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 479
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 65R-447
WITH REFERENCE TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF LA PALMA
AVENUE, FROM EAST STREET TO PAULINE STREET,
IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, PROJECT NO. 111.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on June 15, 1965,
adopt Resolution No. 65R -447 finding and determining that
public convenience and necessity required the construction
and completion of a public improvement, to wit: The im-
provement of La Palma Avenue, from East Street to Pauline
Street, in the City of Anaheim, Project No. 111; approving
the designs, plans, profiles, drawings and specifications;
authorizing the construction of said public improvement;
and authorizing and directing the City Clerk to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals for the construction
thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has advised
the City Council that certain circumstances necessitate the
postponement of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Resolution
No. 65R -447 should, therefore, be rescinded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No.65R-447, adopted
by the City Council on June 15, 1965, be and same is hereby
rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 22nd day of June, 1965.
