1965-477RESOLUTION NO, 65R 477 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1689 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from FRANK R. KROGMAN and LORETTA H. KROGMAN owners o cer a n rea proper y s uated m e ity of7NEWEiTm, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: PARCEL 1: Lot 1 of Tract 2911, as shown on a map recorded in Book 97, Page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California. PARCEL 2: The East 290.00 feet of the North 366.00 feet of Section Twelve, Township Four South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the North 185.00 feet of the East 185.00 feet. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on May 10 19 65 notice of which said public hearing was duly given as requ by law and the provisions of.Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission after due inspection, investigation_and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 1630 Series 19 64 65 denying_ Variance No. 1689 and WHEREAS, thereafter within twenty -two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, the. City Council did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action taken by the City Planning Commission in denying said variance and did set a public_hearing thereon to be held on the 22nd day of June, 1965 at 7 :00 o'clock P.M. in the City Hall in the City Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,.Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find that: 1. There is no substantial property right.,,possessed by other property in the same vicinity.and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying Variance No. 1689 be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that the petition of Frank R. Krogman and Loretta H. Krogman for a conditional zoning variance permitting a waiver of the aggregate area requirement of all signs facing each 300 lineal feet of street frontage (Section 18.62.090(a)); a waiver of the number of free standing signs permitted (Section 18.62.090(b -1)); and a waiver of the location of free- standing signs (Section 18.62.090 (b -5)), on the property hereinbefore described, be, and the same is hereby denied.
