RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 458
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF STATE MOBILEHOMES AND MOBILE
HOME PARKS LAW AND RELATED MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to adopt and to
become actively engaged in the enforcement of State's Mobile-
home and Mobilehome Parks Act; and
WHEREAS, the California Legislature at its 1961 Ses-
sion passed Chapter 2761, Statutes of 1961, repealing the
State Trailer Park Act and adopting the State Mobilehomes and
Mobilehome Parks Law which became effective September 15, 1961;
and
WHEREAS, the State Mobilehomes and Mobilehome Parks
Law applies statewide; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 18010
of the Health and Safety Code, desire to enforce said Mobilehome
Parks inspection and licensing program.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
(1) That the City of Anaheim does assume the res-
ponsibility for the enforcement of Part 2 of Division 13 of the
California Health and Safety Code and the Rules and Regulations
of the California Administrative Code, Title 8, Chapter 9,
Articles 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 5, and other applicable laws.
(2) That the Development Services Department of the
City of Anaheim shall enforce all the provisions of said Law
pertaining to the location, design, and improvement of Mobilehome,
Travel Trailer, Recreational, and Temporary Trailer Parks in the
area of the City of Anaheim.
(3) That the Development Services Department of the
City of Anaheim shall enforce all the provisions pertaining to
the construction, reconstruction, alteration or modification of
such parks, homes, and trailers.
(4) That the Development Services Department of the
City of Anaheim shall enforce all the provisions pertaining to
the operation, maintenance, use, occupancy, and sanitation of
such parks, homes, and trailers.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 15th day of june 1965.
