A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE N0, 1697
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
WIT.LLAM D. PROCOPTO, oti
o certain real property situated in the City oof An m, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot No. 3 of Tract No. 2381, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 69, Pages 15, 16 and 17 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
May 10 19 65 notice of which said public hearing was
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,.
Chapter 18,76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission after due
inspection, investigation_and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No, 1613, Series
19 64-65 denying Variance No. 1697 and
WHEREAS, thereafter within twenty two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the. City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action taken by the City
Planning Commission in denying said variance and did set a
public hearing thereon to be held on the 8th day of June
1965 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Hall in the City of
Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as
required by law and the provisions of Title 18,_Chapter 18.76 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There is no_substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property,
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

denying Variance No. 1697 be, and the same is hereby, sustained,
and that the petition of 1illiam D. Procopio for a conditional
zoning variance permitting a waiver of the reouired landscaping
in the front setback of the property hereinbeore described, be
and the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3th day of June 1965
